21 Aug. 2017: Happy Monday once again! Time for me to tell ya how my weekend went!
First, let's just get this out of the way... eclipse today, 70% ish from where I am, not a total... Still cool, but the next one, and I have a few years to plan on it, I will be better prepared. My go-to for the LARGE lens and camera combo did not do what I hoped, so, of all things, leave it to my Samsung S7..... It was a little weird what it picked up, but that's ok... everyone knows I can be just a touch weird. However, like I said, still cool...
Second, even though a ton of great things, musically, was happening, I road tripped to Cruedfest! Met some amazing people, saw some good friends, met the coolest GSD (his name was "Loki"...), and even made some re-connects! It was a benefit to fight cancer, a cause that is near and dear to the heart, with losses in my own circle of family & friends and some friends doing battle right now.... It has been a while since I have been able to attend one, and I always have a great time. The lineup went as follows: Durty Little Secrets, martianrebel, Crossdockers, Maximum Overdrive, Am I Sixx, Three Quarter Stone, & Crued. A couple of these bands were new-to-me, and that is always a cool thing about lineups like this. I didn't sit the entire time, and even though I was whipped, I loved reliving the night through pictures I took. I hope they raised lots of money... (I don't ask...) and I hope to go again next year! I want to give a major shout out to the owner of the private property we were on.... YOU ROCK!
One thing I do have to say here, is, and not to slight anyone else because I was happy to see everyone, it was nice to see the fellas in TQS.... they are really nice guys and I love the music they are laying down! Any time I can hang with them is a pleasure.!
I also have to say playing with the dog, Loki, had me missing my girl, Isis... so sweet!
What else...? Not too much more to say right now. Looking forward to talking about this and other things, exciting things, coming up on the show! In studio guests will be starting up next month!
Have a great week, and see you Wednesday!!!

14 August 2017:
Hey, how you doing? I had a busy weekend hanging out with a few awesome people and listening to some killer tunes!
First, let me tell you how cool it is to be at RBX Radio... with a second show under the belt & an 3rd coming up, Wednesdays 8PM to 11 PM Eastern. I am really enjoying myself! Be sure to check it out! ( http://rbxradio.com/ )
Friday, the 11th of Aug, I went to This Ain't Hollywood in Hamilton, and saw friends from Varga, wvsg A Rebel Few! (Also ran into a lot of friends from other bands... too many to mention! Hi guys! Nice to see you!!!) Anyways, true to their music, both bands delivered, and kicked everyone's ass in a major way! You need to see these 2... honestly! As I get better at doing links, I will be sharing them with you. For now, check BOTH out on Facebook! If you don't have the CDs from these bands, you should consider getting them... seriously!
Saturday, the 12th of Aug., I was all over, but finally ended my night by being at Battered Egos at Sessions on the River with their guests, Janicii (I don't know what it is about this band, but they are ALWAYS a pleasure to see and watch perform!) Battered Egos was there to record a new single called "Daddy's Little Girl", and I was happy to be part of it. Chris Curry at Sessions was busy working his magic behind the board as the band did their parts for a treat to be heard, soon, first on Bobby B.'s show on RBX Radio (Tuesdays, 7 PM to 11 PM Eastern!) They live streamed their second set to the world of originals from their debut CD.. which is self-titled. They will be doing another, but you, like me, just have to be patient. Until then, if you don't have the first one, do yourself a favor and pick it up by contacting Christie Hails over at Indie Rocks. ( http://indie-rocks.ca/ )
Sunday the 13th of August, was a little "me time" to just veg with the camera, and take a nice drive. G-man & I had a great dinner and will be going to D&D's Diner, in Jarvis ON, again!
So, that's how my weekend went. Hope yours was exceptional! Talk to you next Monday with highlights once again. \m/
Another weekend comes to a close...

7 August 2017:
Ok, you will have to bare (or bear... whatever, I get those 2 mixed up...) with me. First time for everything, and this is the first time I have even considered "blogging". I will introduce you to my You Tube channel, my Twitter account, and my Facebook page... in due time.
You see, so many things have changed, and so many things are coming up. This is why I decided to do this. To try and keep you, the indie music lover, informed.
One BIG change for me happens to be joining the RBX Radio team. I am not going to get into the whole thing about Max Ink Radio. By now, it is rather a moot point, and I really had an amazing run, and good time, there. I will still try to bring the best of the Local and surrounding Wisconsin scene to you. There is an amazing bunch of great artists in the area over there...
However, You will, just like me, have to get used to the change, because, in all honesty, this is truly a good thing! I have an awesome new platform to bring you amazing artists and continue work I love doing!
The focus will ALWAYS be the independent artist and photos of them are forth-coming. (I just have to do a little more work... meh. They are worth it!)
Basically, this is how I am. I encourage you to check the links, frequently, that I have on here, and to give them some love. Worthy of your attention. Until another time......... keep it real and support YOUR local music scene.
They work hard, to help entertain YOU!!!

There is darkness in Da Nest today...
A good friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, lost his battle with cancer yesterday...
My heart goes out to the family, the many friends, the members of the bands he was part of, and all those whose heart & soul he touched...
Jason... you will be missed.........
